Blending modes provide a way to change how the layers in a photoshop image interact with each other. But with over 25 standard options plus infinite manual configurations it can get a bit crazy. Here is part one of your definative (I always wanted to use that word) guide to blending modes. The 2nd part will follow next week and look at the remaining blend modes.

I learned this one last week while working on the banner ad for MoD.

It’ll save you time and effort when arranging photos, great for arranging holiday pics, presenting pics to a client or (in my case) making a template for a banner ad.
